CRIS distributes special radios that broadcast audio versions of articles published in newspapers and magazines to individuals who are unable to read printed material due to vision loss or other disability.

“Our Uncle Mike was a daily listener of CRIS Radio, which allowed him to keep informed of daily current and world events, and to be an active and knowledgeable participant in any conversation. In fact, he was usually more informed than the average adult on the subject of current events. He was always friendly, polite and outgoing but quite opinionated. He was a frequent caller to local talk radio shows to share his opinions with others. CRIS Radio helped Uncle Mike live a long, full life where he felt that he was important and his opinions mattered.” Mike’s family
