“Dining & Dancing in the Dark,” will be held on Saturday, April 16 at the historic Bond Ballroom in Hartford. The star-studded gala will also feature popular WFSB meteorologist Scot Haney as the event’s emcee.

The contenders include: radio personality AJ, co-host of Chaz & AJ in the Morning on WPLR -102.9; Jay Harris, ESPN SportsCenter anchor; and former Mrs. CT and star of Bravo’s reality TV show “Game of Crowns” Vanassa Sebastian.

Also competing for the CRIS Radio Mirror Ball Trophy will be Nicole Nalepa, WFSB travel and health reporter, and Jaymee Sire, ESPN Sports Center anchor. Rounding out the line-up is actress and restaurant owner Luz Ramos, who has appeared in countless movies and TV programs and owns the Sloppy Waffle restaurant in Newington.

Celebrity judges of the contest include Joe Furey, chief meteorologist from Fox CT and Maryellen Fillo, former Java columnist for the Hartford Courant.
