The 24th CRIS Golf Classic was a huge success, raising money by gathering old friends and new for an afternoon of the ancient game. The money raised from the tournament allows CRIS to offer its service at no cost to people living in the community who are blind or unable to read due to learning, physical, intellectual, and emotional disabilities.

The 2018 version of Dining and Dancing in the Dark is history and it made history. The past champions who competed, dazzled the crowd with flashy dressed, incredible moves and even some nostalgia. Billy Johnstone eked out victory over an energized pool of rivals, including Nicole Nalepa, Marilyn Alverio, Floyd Green and Hanna Mordo. Thanks also to the crew from Arthur Murray, Scott Haney, Ann Howard, Eight to the Bar and all of those who came out to support Connecticut's radio reading service.
What do you get when you put Scot Haney, Eight to the Bar, a dozen local celebrities, 200 people passionate about one of CT's vital services for people with disabilities, and a shiny trophy in a ballroom? We don't think there's a name for it, but the result is a guaranteed TEN.
This year's theme is dances from the movies. Be dazzled by the surprises our dance professionals and celebrities have in store. The money raised is key to our efforts to provide CRIS Radio to people in the community at no cost. Make a difference: join us and you will have fun in the process.
