Become a Sponsor of the 25th Annual CRIS Radio Golf Classic

Please consider becoming a sponsor of the 25th Annual CRIS Radio Golf Classic on September 22, 2022 at the Tunxis Country Club.  Your sponsorship will support the only organization in Connecticut that provides human-narrated audio versions of printed newspapers, magazines and classroom materials for people unable to read due to blindness or other print challenges.

By sponsoring CRIS Radio’s Golf Classic, your business will reach a growing field of golfers, thousands of CRIS listeners, and countless individuals who access our website. Most importantly, your sponsorship will power CRIS Radio, Connecticut's only Talking Newsstand for people who are blind or print challenged.

New Country Motor Car Group in Hartford is the title sponsor of our golf tournament fundraiser. Tim Parker, vice president of New Country, says he is proud to support CRIS Radio because it is an organization that "makes an important difference in improving the lives of people who are blind or unable to read due to a disability."

For your convenience, you can become a sponsor via Paypal through the link below,  or  please print the sponsorship form by clicking HERE, and mail the completed form with donation to CRIS Radio, 315 Windsor Ave., Windsor, CT 06095.

Dining & Dancing in the Dark 2019

The judges gave perfect scores to Taylor Kinzler, co-host of NBC CT-Live, who danced a salsa with Arthur Murray Dance Studios pro Kadeem Jordon, and to Eva Zymaris, WFSB reporter, who danced a cha-cha with Luis Cabasa, also a dance pro with Arthur Murray. The audience’s votes broke the tie, giving Kinzler the win for her performance.

Among the evening’s highlights were the dance performances of two CRIS volunteers who also are CRIS listeners, Diane Duhaime and Steve Famiglietti. Duhaime danced a waltz with Arthur Murray’s Crisen McKenzie and Famiglietti, manager of assistive technology at Oak Hill, danced a tango with dance pro Sally Nasatka.  READ MORE
