Be a Sponsor of the 20th CRIS Radio Golf Classic

They went into the woods to find a ball and came out with dinner.
Despite the rumors, this foursome did not hunt and kill squirrels for the after-golf dinner.

Please consider becoming a sponsor of the 20th Annual CRIS Radio Golf Classic on Oct. 4 at the Tunxis Golf Plantation.  Your sponsorship will support the only organization in Connecticut that provides human-narrated audio versions of printed newspapers, magazines and classroom materials for people unable to read due to blindness or other print challenges.

By sponsoring CRIS Radio’s Golf Classic, your business will reach a growing field of golfers, thousands of CRIS listeners, and countless individuals who access our website. Most importantly, your sponsorship will power CRIS Radio, Connecticut's only Talking Newsstand for people who are blind or print challenged.

New Country Motor Car Group in Hartford is the title sponsor of our golf tournament fundraiser. Tim Parker, vice president of New Country, says he is proud to support CRIS Radio because it is an organization that "makes an important difference in improving the lives of people who are blind or unable to read due to a disability."

For your convenience, you can become a sponsor via Paypal through the link below. Or  or  please print the sponsorship form by clicking HERE, and mail the completed form with donation to CRIS Radio, 315 Windsor Ave., Windsor, CT 06095.

For more information, please contact Scott Baecker or Diane Weaver Dunne.  Or telephone 860-527-8000.

Thank you for your support.  We look forward to seeing you on the links.

Dining & Dancing in the Dark 2017

Scot Haney knocked the ball out of the park with his dance performance, but on this night his competition wasn't Joe Furey and Weather Watch, it was the five most dazzling women in all of Connecticut.  The 2017 Dining & Dancing in the Dark Champions are:  Amanda Raus (Fox CT) & Hanna Mordoh.

It may have been the most dazzling D&D yet, and the winners are the people all over CT who use CRIS services, as the night raised record amounts to help CRIS continue its mission.  READ MORE
