Volunteers from around the state came together on September 19, braving forecasts of Hurricane Jose, to celebrate their dedication to Connecticut's only radio reading service for people with disabilities. Volunteers with 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service were honored.

NORWALK — The city has welcomed a new nonprofit with the grand opening of Connecticut Radio Information System’s newest office at the Gate Lodge in Mathews Park.
CRIS launched two of its internet streams at St. Francis Hospital, making the CRIS Radio and CRIS en Español available to every patient in the hospital over their bedside cable system.
CRIS is excited to announce the launch May 27th of it's radio stream into St. Francis Hospital (Hartford). Patients will now be able to access the CRIS stream through the cable TV system. St. Francis has also worked with CRIS to stream CRIS en Espanol.
