Sir:-In accordance with Chapter 11, Section 13, Militia Law, l respectfully submit herewith a report "on the condition of the national guard, and such other matters relating to the militia" during the past two years.

Sgt. Dwyer returned to Waterbury after the war to become a fireman. The Questionnaire includes an appendix from the veteran describing how he came to be nominated for the "DSC".

Sgt. Maynard was killed on November 11, 1918. He is buried in France.
